FAA Form 7460-1 was changed slightly from the previous form (dated 11/98). The new corrects an error listing law that requires notice of proposed construction.

Old: "Notice is required by 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 77, pursuant to 49 U.S.C., Section 44716,,,"

New: "Notice is required by 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 77, pursuant to 49 U.S.C., Section 44718,,,"

Outlook is an industry standard scheduling tool. A menu item under Utilities provides easy access to this scheduling tool. You should record your critical dates, such as start construction, when to file a 7460-2, etc. in Outlook Calendar.

Read-It is a utility that allows speed reading of documents. With this tool it is possible to read at 1000 words per minute. Simply select Read-It under the Utility Menu and program will start. Copy any text to the clipboard and press the "Load" menu. The document will now display in the window. Next move the speed control bar to the setting you desire and press Read. The words in the document will begin to display one at a time. If you are interrupted during the reading process, simply press the space bar on the keyboard and the program will pause. To resume press "Continue." Do not say the words in your mind, read by understanding the words as they are displayed. With a little practice you can reduce the time you spend reading electronic documents.
